Delivery methods and time
Inside Finland, goods are delivered by the local service Posti OY. Shipping methods: Postipaketti, SmartPost, Kotipaketti. Delivery takes up to 1-5 business days*, depending on the selected delivery method.
To EU countries goods are delivered by GLS and DHL. Free shipping by GLS inside EU (except VAT free zones) for orders over 120 euro. Delivery takes up to 4-10 business days*, depending on the destination country. In the shopping cart, you can also choose the delivery methods of DHL (2-5 business days) for an additional fee. Separate tariffs apply for remote territories (different islands).
To UK we ship by EMS (10-20 business days). Free shipping to UK for orders over 150 euro. Since Brexit UK customers are responsible for VAT or/and additional taxes in own country.
Outside the European Union (USA and other countries), delivery is carried out by EMS (in cooperation with the Finnish Post) and DHL. EMS Delivery takes up to 5-25 business days*, depending on the destination country. Free EMS shipping for orders over 120-150 euro depending on chosen country. In the shopping cart, you can also choose the delivery methods of DHL (2-5 business days) for an additional fee.

* We indicate the average expected time of delivery. Despite the fact that we ship orders as quickly as possible (on the day of the order or the next working day after it), the final delivery time depends only on the work of the postal and customs service of Your country.

Inside Finland Free shipping for orders over 70 euros (SmartPost);
To EU countries Free GLS shipping inside EU for orders over 120 euro ***.
To all countries outside EU Free EMS shipping for orders over 120-150 euro depending on chosen country.
*** (!)We offer Free shipping only for packages of standard weight up to 3 kg (3 kg parcel might include for example up to 5 tactical, up to 12 folding or up to 10 kitchen knives). All parcels over 3 kg (physical or/and volumetric weight) are considered as “Heavy” and are paid at separate rates. The cost of delivery of a parcel with the status "Heavy" will be automatically calculated in the shopping cart depending on weight.
****We offer one free shipping for one order. Additional deliveries are to be fully paid by customer.
Placing an order, you can also choose other delivery methods for an additional fee, if available for your country.
Handling
If an item's availability status is “In-Stock”, order placed on business days before 12.00 Finnish time, we send on the same day. Orders placed after 12-00 Friday are shipped the following Monday.
Products with status “Pre-order” we send after getting them from vendors. Lead time is written on item’s pages, but longer wait times are normal.
On weekends and public holidays shipping is not possible.
Tracking
All parcels, regardless of the carrier and type of delivery, have a tracking number. Tracking number of your parcel we will send you immediately. If you didn't receive an automatic email, check Spam.
Pickup from stores
You can choose Pickup delivery and pick your order up by yourselves from our storelocated at the following address: Lappeenranta, Valtakatu 52. Order can be picked up after you get confirmation that order is ready for pickup at chosen store.
Insurance and reimbursement
All parcels sent inside Finland, as well as EMS parcels are insured by Finnish Post. In case of loss or damage to the parcel, the insurance compensation is paid in full 45 days (the time required for the postal services to investigate the incident) after submitting the insurance claim. Parcels sent within the European Union by the GLS carrier can be insured optionally when making order. The cost of insurance for a GLS parcel is 5 euros (incl.VAT 24%).
Customs clearance and certification
For orders made outside the European Union, buyer is responsible for customs clearance, fees, taxes and possible product certification. MyGoodKnife does not allow evasion of taxes and customs duties at our expense. We specify only the actual cost of the product in the documents.
Returns
EU residents have the right to return the product within 14 days after receiving. The refund must be approved in advance by customer service via email [email protected] Customer will get refund excluded all shipping costs. That means that even if customer had free shipping, refund will exclude shipping costs that our store spent for delivery of this parcel.
The return and exchange of goods sent outside the EU is not carried out except for warranty and insurance cases.
