BenchMark Knives was originally founded in the late 70s and early 80s. Gradually, this brand began to leave the market. Eventually, they went out of business. Based in Gastonia, North Carolina, they possessed an impressive assortment of folding knives and some rare creations. Most of the blades used by BenchMark Knives were made from 440C steel, with a very compact handle and blade design. The quality was also noticeable in the leather sheath that came with each knife. Today it is not completely clear what happened to all BenchMark knives produced. Some of them could have been transferred to someone's property, others could have been copied and sold under different brands. This is why the value of genuine BenchMark knives is quite high.
