Il Bungee Shock Cord (o semplicemente shock cord) è un cordino elastico con una treccia in poliestere o nylon e un'anima in gomma. Assomiglia al paracord nel design, ma è altamente elastico, solitamente fino al 100-300% della lunghezza originale.

Il Bungee Shock Cord viene utilizzato per fissare attrezzature, realizzare cinghie ammortizzanti e altre applicazioni nel turismo, nello sport e nella pesca. Si prega di notare che il Bungee Shock Cord non mantiene un carico statico in modo affidabile come il paracord, non è adatto per appendere carichi pesanti, ma è ideale per il fissaggio mobile.
