Un equipo importante de la Brigada del Diablo era el cuchillo de combate V-42 especialmente diseñado, que también formaba parte del entrenamiento intensivo de combate cuerpo a cuerpo. El mango de los discos de cuero comprimido termina en una tapa de impacto puntiaguda. Un grueso acolchado de cuero debajo del pomo ligeramente curvado tenía como objetivo evitar lesiones.
