Karesuando est une marque de couteaux suédoise fondée en 1975 dans le village du même nom, situé au-delà du cercle polaire arctique. La marque incarne l'héritage du peuple Sami, pour qui le couteau était un compagnon précieux pour la chasse, la pêche et la survie en Arctique. La gamme Karesuando comprend des couteaux à lame fixe, dont des couteaux traditionnels Sami, ainsi que des haches.

Karesuando utilise exclusivement des matériaux naturels pour sa production, soulignant ainsi son lien avec la nature. Les manches des couteaux sont en bouleau de Carélie, ornés de bois de renne. Les lames sont forgées dans des aciers de haute qualité : acier inoxydable Sandvik 12C27, acier carbone Uddeholm ou acier Damas. Chaque couteau est fourni avec un étui en cuir fait main, souvent doté d'un passant de ceinture et d'éléments fabriqués dans les mêmes matériaux que le manche. Les couteaux et haches Karesuando sont livrés dans des coffrets cadeaux.
