The ecological Kupilka dishware can withstand boiling hot water and sub-zero temperatures as cold as -30°C. The dishes can be washed by hand in the wild or in the dishwasher back home. The products are manufactured from biomaterial using EKOenergy, and each item ages beautifully yet keeping its qualities. You can check how fresh the product is from its wooden scent – the stronger the scent, the newer the product! To ensure the longevity of the dishes, we do not recommend putting them in the microwave, stove or open fire. At the end of their life span, the products can be recycled, incinerated for heat energy or returned to the manufacturer for re-use.

Вдохновением для создания линейки специальной посуды послужила чашка Harakkakuppi, вырезанная в 1775 году мастером по имени Kuisma для дегустации алкогольных напитков. В 2003 году промышленный дизайнер Heikki Koivurova и потомок мастера Kuisma представили продукт под названием Kupilka 21 - чашку, созданную на основе дизайна Harakkakuppi, но при этом из особого материала.
Посуда Kupilka изготавливается из уникального материала: натурального композита древесного волокна и термопластика. Он на 50% состоит из древесины финских лесов, сертифицированной по стандарту PEFC, и на 50% — из безопасного полимера, придающего прочность. Благодаря этому изделия сохраняют текстуру дерева, но устойчивы к влаге, не впитывают запахи, не трескаются и выдерживают температуры от -30°C до +100°C.
Другой отличительной особенностью посуды Kupilka является то, что все товары производятся в Финляндии на 100% с использованием "зелёной" энергии — ветровой и солнечной. Вся продукция пригодна к повторной переработке, а упаковка — из вторсырья. Сегодня в ассортименте Kupilka представлены чашки разных цветов и размеров, наборы для кемпинга — тарелки, миски, столовые приборы. Коллекционные серии — например, чашки с персонажами Муми-троллей или подарочные наборы в деревянных ящиках.
Продукция Kupilka одобрена для использования в пищевой промышленности и безопасна для использования с холодными и горячими блюдами.
