Böker Leopard-Damascus I 110084DAM is the exclusive folder, whose blade is forged out of the German battle tank Leopard I. This specialty steel is not available to the market because it was only used for the military. Böker was fortunate to acquire some amout for its exclusive products. A chromium-manganese and vanadium tool steel alloy was added to this extremely wear-resistant barrel steel. The result is a remarkably high hardness for Damascus steel (61-63 HRC). The pattern provided on the blade is labeled "Small Pyramid". Handle material is 6061-T6 aluminum and features certified imported Ziricote wood inlays. Knife includes certificate of authenticity and gift box. Serialized. Böker Leopard-Damascus folder weighs 120 g.

Böker Tirpitz-Damascus Gold is the extraordinary collectible knife from Böker company. On April 1, 1939, the Tirpitz, named after Fleet Admiral Alfred von Tirpitz, was christened and launched in Wilhelmshaven. Since then, a larger battleship has never been built again in Europe. Now, 80 years later, Böker is presenting the special edition Böker Tirpitz-Damascus Gold as a reminder that Western Europe suffered through two World Wars and has been living in peace and liberty since 1945. The enormous battleship was sunk in 1944 off the Norwegian coast. Right after the end of World War II, a Norwegian company sent experts to salvage the ship's wreck, in order to make the highly alloyed steel available for civilian purposes. Böker received some parts of the salvaged armoring of the Tirpitz. Their blacksmith took these pieces of living history and forged an exclusive and exceptional steel with a fascinating history. Böker Tirpitz-Damascus Gold fascinates with its peerless Damascus blade, exclusively plated with gold. The blade consists of 300 layers of hand-forged Tirpitz-Damascus with the "Great Pyramid" pattern. The subtle sheen of the gold plating catches the eye of the beholder. All elements such as thumbstud, blade and handle screws, spacers, liner, clip and replacement clip plate are gold-plated as well. The blade is secured with a 1.5 mm thick linerlock. The repositionable clip (tip-up/tip-down) allows for convenient carry options. The inlay of domestic walnut wood sports the coat of arms and name of the Tirpitz. Each knife of this special edition is an elegant combination of history, remembrance and modern technology. Completely handmade by Böker in Solingen. It comes in a frame case with an individual serial number and a certificate of authenticity. Weight is 180 g.

The matte wood of the contoured handle scales is CNC-milled in a three-dimensional design. The coat of arms and name of the Tirpitz takes pride of place on the front. The combination of Tirpitz steel with carbon tool steel also makes for an extremely durable Damascus in 300 layers. With a Rockwell hardness of 61 to 63 HRC, it is equal to any everyday task. The blade has a nail nick and is secured with a 1.5 mm thick linerlock. With a clip (tip-up). The knife comes with a high-quality transparent frame case with a certificate and serial number. The smaller and thus more handy version of the Applegate-Fairbairn has been developed according to the same concept as its big brother. Fiberglass-reinforced Delrin handle with integrated stainless steel weights, brass cross-guard and 440C blade steel. The blade has on the one side a typical double conical dagger grind and on the other side a hollow grind. Delivery includes a Kydex sheath and a large Tek-Lok. The various versions of the Boker Applegate-Fairbairn have been convincing special forces all over the world for years and have emerged as an icon among tactical knives. The knife goes back to the classic Fairbairn-Sykes dagger from World War II and was designed by Col. Rex Applegate. The elite soldier coordinated secret operations throughout Europe during the war and even became President Franklin D. Roosevelt's personal guard. He trained Allied Special Forces in close combat and founded the "School for Spies and Assassins" in today's Camp David. La più antica azienda tedesca produttrice di coltelli, Böker, fu fondata nel XVII secolo (Remscheid). Oggi Böker produce alcuni dei migliori coltelli pieghevoli, coltelli da esterno, coltelli tattici e coltelli da caccia al mondo. Come la stragrande maggioranza delle aziende tardo-medievali, Böker era un'azienda a conduzione familiare fondata dal capofamiglia. L'officina, e poco dopo una piccola fabbrica per la produzione di lame di alta qualità, si trovava nell'angolo più bello della Germania: un bosco di castagni. Questo albero imponente divenne il simbolo della famosa azienda tedesca.

Non tutti i coltelli Böker vengono prodotti a Solingen, in Germania. Ora parte della capacità produttiva del leggendario produttore tedesco è stata trasferita a Taiwan e in Cina per ottimizzare i costi di produzione (Böker Plus e Böker Magnum). Tutti gli stabilimenti Böker sono dotati delle attrezzature più avanzate e il controllo qualità dei prodotti realizzati viene effettuato centralmente e con la massima scrupolosità.
