Fox Cutlery è stata fondata da Frati Oreste nel 1977 a Magnago, in Italia. Oggi, Fox Knives produce una vasta gamma di coltelli in diverse categorie e si aggiudica numerosi premi in mostre internazionali di coltelli.

Il coltello Fox SURU è stato progettato dal rinomato designer Jesper Voxnæs. Questa versione presenta una lama in acciaio M398, una versione modernizzata dell'acciaio M390, che si distingue per il maggiore contenuto di carbonio e vanadio, garantendo una straordinaria resistenza all'usura. Il manico è dotato di guancette in acetato di cellulosa. La cellulosa è un polimero naturale che costituisce la base strutturale di tutta la vita vegetale. L'acetato di cellulosa si ottiene facendo reagire la cellulosa con anidride acetica. Questo materiale combina elevate proprietà fisiche e meccaniche con il rispetto per l'ambiente. Il Fox SURU ha riscosso un ampio successo tra gli appassionati di coltelli EDC (Everyday Carry) e si è aggiudicato il prestigioso premio "Coltello dell'anno" al Blade Show 2018.
