Kershaw

Kershaw è uno dei marchi di coltelli pieghevoli più famosi, fondato nel 1974 da Pete Kershaw in Oregon, USA. Pete, che in precedenza lavorava presso Gerber, decise di creare la propria linea di coltelli. Nel 1978, il marchio entrò a far parte del gruppo giapponese KAI Group. Oggi Kershaw produce coltelli sia negli Stati Uniti (Oregon) che in Giappone. Il marchio è noto per le sue nuove tecnologie. In collaborazione con il maestro Ken Onion, l'azienda ha introdotto il meccanismo SpeedSafe, un sistema di apertura assistita della lama. Successivamente, il marchio ha introdotto la tecnologia di produzione di lame composite a partire da due tipi di acciaio.
