Kupilka è un noto marchio finlandese che crea stoviglie e accessori per il campeggio e l'outdoor. La parola Kupilka significa "piccola ciotola" nell'antica lingua dei popoli nordici.

L'ispirazione per la creazione di una linea di stoviglie speciali è stata la tazza Harakkakuppi, intagliata nel 1775 da un maestro di nome Kuisma per la degustazione di bevande alcoliche. Nel 2003, la designer industriale Heikki Koivurova e un discendente del maestro Kuisma hanno presentato un prodotto chiamato Kupilka 21: una tazza creata sulla base del design Harakkakuppi, ma realizzata in un materiale speciale.

Le stoviglie Kupilka sono realizzate con un materiale unico: un composito naturale di fibra di legno e termoplastica. Sono composte per il 50% da legno proveniente dalle foreste finlandesi, certificato secondo lo standard PEFC, e per il 50% da un polimero sicuro che conferisce resistenza. Grazie a questo, i prodotti mantengono la consistenza del legno, ma sono resistenti all'umidità, non assorbono odori, non si screpolano e resistono a temperature da -30 °C a +100 °C.
