Coltelli pieghevoli a pulsante

I coltelli con blocco Button Lock sono molto popolari in tutto il mondo grazie alla rapidità di apertura e alla comodità d’uso. Come suggerisce il nome, il blocco Button Lock si basa su un pulsante per sbloccare la lama. Un perno a molla collegato al pulsante fissa la lama in posizione aperta. Per richiudere il coltello, basta premere nuovamente il pulsante. Il principale vantaggio del Button Lock è l’utilizzo con una sola mano. Il coltello può essere aperto e chiuso facilmente e molto rapidamente, anche in condizioni di scarsa visibilità, maltempo o situazioni estreme. La costruzione del Button Lock è affidabile e duratura.

Oggi questo blocco si trova sia su coltelli pieghevoli economici sia su modelli premium. Molti marchi moderni lo utilizzano per i coltelli EDC. La maggior parte dei coltelli Button Lock dispone anche di un blocco di sicurezza secondario per evitare aperture accidentali, ad esempio in tasca. Come qualsiasi meccanismo a molla, il Button Lock è sensibile alla polvere e allo sporco. Si consiglia di lubrificare periodicamente il blocco con olio per armi per mantenere un’apertura fluida. Nota che in alcuni paesi i coltelli con blocco Button Lock sono vietati; si raccomanda quindi di verificare la legislazione locale prima dell’acquisto.
