Button Lock Messer

Button Lock Messer sind weltweit sehr beliebt wegen ihrer schnellen Einsatzfähigkeit und Benutzerfreundlichkeit. Wie der Name schon sagt, basiert das Button Lock auf einem Knopfmechanismus zur Entriegelung der Klinge. Ein federbelasteter Stift, der mit dem Knopf verbunden ist, fixiert die Klinge in der offenen Position. Zum Schließen des Messers einfach erneut auf den Knopf drücken. Der Hauptvorteil des Button Lock ist die Einhandbedienung. Das Messer kann auch bei schlechter Sicht, widrigen Wetterbedingungen oder in Extremsituationen schnell und einfach geöffnet und geschlossen werden. Das Design des Button Lock ist zuverlässig und langlebig.

Heute findet man diesen Verschluss sowohl bei günstigen Klappmessern als auch bei Premium-Modellen. Viele moderne Marken verwenden ihn für EDC-Messer. Die meisten Button Lock Messer verfügen außerdem über eine zusätzliche Sicherheitsverriegelung, die ein versehentliches Drücken des Knopfs und Öffnen der Klinge verhindert, z. B. in der Tasche. Wie jeder Federmechanismus ist der Button Lock empfindlich gegenüber Schmutz. Wir empfehlen, das Schloss regelmäßig mit Waffenöl zu schmieren, um die geschmeidige Funktion zu erhalten. Das Automatikmesser Böker Plus 01BO424 hat  Droppoint-Klinge wird aus dem in Japan entwickeltem AUS-8 gefertigt und ist mit einem dunklen Stonewash-Finish versehen. Der schlanke, ergonomisch geformte Griff baut auf soliden Stahlplatinen auf, die mit griffig gefrästen und leichtgewichtigen Schalen aus coyotefarbenem Aluminium bestückt sind. Das vergleichsweise weiche und zähe Metall weist gleichzeitig eine hohe Festigkeit auf und ist sehr belastbar. Tiefe Rillen in der ausgeprägten Daumenmulde unterstützen zudem die sichere Handlage. Dank der sauber rastenden Schiebesicherung kann das geschlossene Messer zusätzlich verriegelt und ein versehentliches Auslösen verhindert werden. Durch das Betätigen des Knopfes wird die Klinge freigegeben, durch die Spannung der dahinterliegenden Feder klappt sie dann selbstständig auf.  Auf der Rückseite befindet sich ein umsetzbarer Clip (Tip-up/Tip-down).
