Karesuando es una marca sueca de cuchillos fundada en 1975 en el pueblo del mismo nombre, situado más allá del Círculo Polar Ártico. La marca representa la herencia del pueblo sami, para quien el cuchillo era un compañero esencial en la caza, la pesca y la supervivencia en el Ártico. La gama Karesuando incluye cuchillos de hoja fija, incluyendo cuchillos tradicionales sami, así como hachas.
Karesuando utiliza exclusivamente materiales naturales para su producción, enfatizando la conexión con la naturaleza. Los mangos de los cuchillos están hechos de abedul de Carelia, decorados con asta de reno. Las hojas están forjadas con aceros de alta calidad: acero inoxidable Sandvik 12C27, acero al carbono Uddeholm o acero de Damasco.
