Kershaw

Kershaw est l'une des marques de couteaux pliants les plus célèbres, fondée en 1974 par Pete Kershaw dans l'Oregon, aux États-Unis. Auparavant, Pete travaillait chez Gerber avant de créer sa propre gamme de couteaux. En 1978, la marque a intégré le groupe japonais KAI Group. Aujourd'hui, Kershaw produit des couteaux aux États-Unis (Oregon) et au Japon. La marque est réputée pour ses nouvelles technologies. Ainsi, en collaboration avec le maître Ken Onion, l'entreprise a lancé le mécanisme SpeedSafe, un système d'ouverture assistée de la lame. Plus tard, la marque a introduit la technologie de fabrication de lames composites à partir de deux types d'acier.
