Kupilka est une célèbre marque finlandaise qui crée de la vaisselle et des accessoires pour la randonnée, le camping et les activités de plein air. Le mot Kupilka signifie « petit bol » dans la langue ancienne des peuples du Nord.

La création de cette ligne de vaisselle spéciale s'inspire de la coupe Harakkakuppi, sculptée en 1775 par un maître nommé Kuisma pour la dégustation de boissons alcoolisées. En 2003, la designer industrielle Heikki Koivurova et un descendant du maître Kuisma ont présenté le produit Kupilka 21, une coupe inspirée du motif Harakkakuppi, mais fabriquée dans un matériau spécial.

La vaisselle Kupilka est fabriquée dans un matériau unique : un composite naturel de fibres de bois et de thermoplastique. Elle est composée à 50 % de bois issu de forêts finlandaises, certifié PEFC, et à 50 % d'un polymère sûr et résistant. Grâce à cela, les produits conservent la texture du bois, tout en étant résistants à l'humidité, n'absorbent pas les odeurs, ne se fissurent pas et supportent des températures de -30 °C à +100 °C.

Autre particularité de la vaisselle Kupilka : tous les produits sont fabriqués en Finlande, à 100 % grâce à l'énergie verte (éolienne et solaire). Tous les produits sont recyclables et les emballages sont fabriqués à partir de matériaux recyclés. Aujourd'hui, la gamme Kupilka comprend des tasses de différentes couleurs et tailles, des ensembles de camping (assiettes, bols et couverts), ainsi que des collections de collection, comme des tasses à l'effigie des Moumines ou des coffrets cadeaux dans des boîtes en bois.

Les produits Kupilka sont homologués pour une utilisation dans l'industrie alimentaire et peuvent être utilisés avec des plats froids et chauds.
