La lame clippoint à roulement à billes du Trainer est en acier 420 et bénéficie également d'une finition délavée mate. La lame factice, légèrement arrondie sur les bords, présente de généreux creux permettant de la différencier directement des lames affûtées et d'égaler le poids du Balisong original.
