Spyderco Coltelli pieghevoli

Spyderco produce coltelli pieghevoli di alta qualità dal 1978. I modelli più famosi sono: Endura, Delica, Para Military, Ladybug e altri. La maggior parte dei coltelli pieghevoli Spyderco ha un foro di apertura sulla lama. I materiali più comunemente utilizzati per il manico sono FRN e G10. Spyderco utilizza diversi tipi di acciaio per la produzione dei coltelli. È stata la prima azienda a utilizzare l'acciaio in polvere per la produzione di coltelli pieghevoli. Il processo di perfezionamento è stato così continuo e costante che Spyderco lo ha definito CQI - Constant Quality Improvement (Miglioramento Continuo della Qualità). Durante il percorso CQI di Endura e Delica, Spyderco ha perfezionato l'ergonomia, affinato gli acciai delle lame e ottimizzato le prestazioni innumerevoli volte. Le impugnature in nylon rinforzato con fibra di vetro presentano una texture bidirezionale per una presa ottimale e una migliore ergonomia. All'interno, due rivestimenti scheletrati in acciaio inossidabile rendono il coltello più robusto senza appesantirlo e fungono da punto di ancoraggio per tutti i componenti esterni e interni, aumentandone la solidità e la rigidità. Le lame in acciaio VG-10 sono a lama piatta con affilatura a sciabola, punta rinforzata e foro di apertura più ampio da 13 mm. Il dorso della lama è dotato di zigrinatura antiscivolo. Le rondelle in bronzo fosforoso fluidificano l'apertura e la chiusura, mentre la clip è stata migliorata con un sistema a quattro posizioni: punta in su, punta in giù, per destrorsi o mancini. In addition to being a celebrated and longtime custom knifemaker Frank is a past President of the Knifemaker's Guild, a strong voice in the cutlery world and a revered and respected craftsman. Collaborating on knife designs with him is something Spyderco has been fortunate enough to do several times. Our latest offering is the Centofante 3 gentleman's folder.
The Centofante 3 has a thin-profiled, lightweight FRN handle. Two channels are furrowed out of the handle for better grip and a Palladium silver Spyderco bug is inlayed into its surface. For added security and convenience the back-lock is positioned midway on the spine and David Boye Dent is cut from the locking lever. The VG-10 blade has both a hollow-grind and swedge-grind with non-sharpened spine serrations (jimping) to hold the thumb steady when cutting. A black steel pocket clip positions for tip-up/down, right-hand carry.

The Kapara C241CFP is Spyderco's first collaboration with Australian custom knifemaker Alistair Phillips. The design is based on Phillips' popular Redback folder and, like the term "redback," draws its name from the redback spider (Latrodectus hasseltii), a species of highly venomous spider found throughout Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia. The adult female redback has a spherical black body with a prominent red stripe on the upper side of her abdomen. Inspired by this distinctive feature, Phillips' handmade Redback folders showcase a contrasting red backspacer in the handle.
The heart of the Kapara's design is its CPM S30V stainless steel 3.60" blade, which is full-flat ground for truly impressive low-friction edge geometry. Its fully accessible Trademark Round Hole allows convenient one-handed opening with either hand and its drop-point profile gives it both a long, gently curved edge and an acute, utilitarian point.
