Kupilka ist eine bekannte finnische Marke, die Geschirr und Accessoires für Wandern, Camping und Outdoor herstellt. Das Wort Kupilka bedeutet in der alten Sprache der nordischen Völker kleine Schüssel.

Inspiriert von der Harakkakuppi-Tasse, die 1775 von Meister Kuisma zum Verkosten alkoholischer Getränke geschnitzt wurde, entstand eine besondere Geschirrlinie. 2003 präsentierten der Industriedesigner Heikki Koivurova und ein Nachfahre von Meister Kuisma das Produkt Kupilka 21 – eine Tasse, die auf dem Harakkakuppi-Design basiert, jedoch aus einem besonderen Material gefertigt ist.

Kupilka-Geschirr wird aus einem einzigartigen Material hergestellt: einem natürlichen Verbundwerkstoff aus Holzfasern und thermoplastischem Kunststoff. Es besteht zu 50 % aus PEFC-zertifiziertem Holz aus finnischen Wäldern und zu 50 % aus einem sicheren, stabilen Polymer. Dadurch behalten die Produkte die Holzstruktur, sind aber feuchtigkeitsbeständig, nehmen keine Gerüche an, reißen nicht und sind temperaturbeständig von -30 °C bis +100 °C.

Ein weiteres besonderes Merkmal von Kupilka-Geschirr ist die Herstellung aller Produkte in Finnland zu 100 % mit Ökostrom – Wind- und Solarenergie. Alle Produkte sind recycelbar, und die Verpackungen bestehen aus recycelten Materialien. Das Sortiment von Kupilka umfasst Tassen in verschiedenen Farben und Größen, Camping-Sets – Teller, Schüsseln und Besteck –, Sammlerserien – zum Beispiel Tassen mit Mumin-Figuren – oder Geschenksets in Holzboxen.

Kupilka-Produkte sind lebensmittelecht und für kalte und warme Speisen geeignet. Bitte beachten Sie jedoch, dass Kupilka-Geschirr nicht für die Langzeitlagerung empfohlen wird. Tassen und Teller dieser Marke lassen sich selbst auf Wanderungen leicht mit kaltem Wasser reinigen oder einfach abwischen. Kupilka ist frostbeständig und verformt sich nicht in der Sonne.
