DMP es un cuchillo multiusos caracterizado por una notable versatilidad de uso gracias también a su tamaño medio. La hoja Drop Point con punta reforzada es especialmente útil para el uso más duro. El rectificado completamente plano proporciona excelentes características de corte. La funda es minimalista; se ha cortado la mayor parte de la tela; Dispone de un sistema de retención de 2º nivel, recordando el estilo del modelo en el que se inspiró. Extrema Ratio T911 folder is a light, medium sized folding knife, designed for professional use by military operators. It features a Bohler N690 cobalt steel modified spearpoint blade heat treated to 58 HRC for best compromise between toughness, ease of sharpening and edge retention.
The blade is 76 mm (3”) long and 4 mm (0.16”) thick, with a stone washed finish and flat edge, and rotates around a pin that can be adjusted for tension, allowing the user to achieve the desired smoothness while deploying the blade. Once adjusted, a secondary screw locks the pin in position.
The handle is hard anodized Anticorodal aluminum alloy, with a black finish, shaped for ease of transition between reverse and saber grip. The blade deploys from the folded position by the usual thumb stud and is secured by a liner lock with an additional safety system to insure maximum reliability under hard use. The safety lever is red colored for better visibility and engages the safety in its forward position for a more instinctive use.
The handle has an integrated belt cutter with easily available industrial grade cutter blades, tungsten carbide glass breaker, a stainless-steel folding marlin-spike and a flat screwdriver in AISI 420 steel, meant to help in rifle scope adjustment. A clip is fixed at the end of the handle, allowing for a deep, concealed carry position with very little of the knife exposed. The clip can be reversed from left to right side. Overall 194 mm. MF stands for Medium Folder: a product line positioning itself between the BF (Basic Folder) and the Heavy Folder lines. MF knives employ the LINER-LOCK mechanism and are distinguished for their sturdiness; all are equipped with a glass-breaker. An innovative supplementary screw can be unlocked to enable fine-tuning of the main screw, adjusting opening speed to taste. Hemispheric milling marks on handles make it easier to change from saber-style to reverse grip. Clips are reversible. Model MF0 is “the little one” amongst MF knives – basically a compact version of the MF1. It retains all the characteristics of MF1 but has a downsized handle and shortened blade, similar to our SHRAPNEL “back-up” knife.

Extrema Ratio BD2 R is a medium folder of the BD series. Its handle produced in aluminum makes it light and resistant, also thanks to its steel internal frame. They keep all BD2 characteristics, improved with the new high speed Razor opening system.

Extrema Ratio BD1 R is a new knife designed for lightness. It is characterized by a very slim profile with a focus on lightness, without renouncing the usual Extrema Ratio toughness and reliability, also thanks to the black anodized, Anticorodal grip. The modified spearpoint, satin blade is made in Bohler N690 steel hardened to 58 HRC, 2.75” (70mm) long, 0.1” (2.5 mm) thick, with a plain sharpening and a faux edge on the first third of the spine. The blade is deployed by the usual “Razor” tang extension which enables effortless ambidextrous operation. A simple yet sturdy liner lock system holds the blade open. The reversible clip with lightening holes contributes to maintain the weight of the knife to a minimum. Scallops milled in the handle help to guarantee a solid grip on the knife and facilitate grip transitions. With an overall length of 6.7” (170 mm) and a weight of just 2.7 oz (75 g) the Extrema Ratio BD1 R is an extremely light and slim knife which makes it an ideal EDC choice.

This version of Extrema Ratio MF2 is produced with a rough handle for a better grip ("ruvido" means "rough" in italian language). Model MF2 features twin guards, making the grip extremely stable and preventing any event of a user’s hand slipping onto the blade. The blade-mounted guard enables quick opening with the index finger. MF2 ORDINANZA COL MOSCHIN is the version issued to 9th Parachute Assault Regiment “Col Moschin”: decorated with regimental logos, it comes in an engraved ABS case.

In June 2006, the “185° Rgt. Ricognizione e Acquisizione Obiettivi” (Target Acquisition Regiment) airborne “FOLGORE” (185° RAO) entrusted to Extrema Ratio the development of a unique knife fitting the unit’s specific operational duties. This resulted in the RAO: not an oversized folder as much as a compact survival & field knife, with a heavy and dependable blade. Its very reliable locking system, assisted by an extra safety device, effectively turns this folder into a fixed blade knife. The opening and closing is to be performed with both hands in order to minimize the risk of self-inflicted injuries, as the blade, because of its weight, is a veritable guillotine. The extra safe device is a steel pin to be hand-screwed through two holes by the guard section of the massive Anticorodal aluminum handle – its presence between blade and hand also acting as a great psychological boon. The sheath is an essential part of this weapon system: it holds a diamond-plate sharpener and enables user to carry the knife either in open position, held in place by a cord and two clips, or closed, inside the front pocket. The sheath can be attached to tactical vests or common belts, being MOLLE system-compliant.

The Extrema Ratio Ermes is a full-black commemorative knife designed by the Special Operations Helicopter Regiment (R.E.O.S.), which is part of the Italian Army Aviation. R.E.O.S. is a helicopter operational unit supporting the special forces, composed of personnel specially trained and equipped to support hostilities in each operational context.
