Extrema Ratio BF1 CT Desert Warefare with tanto blade. BF1 is a folding knife for everyday use: simple, essential and functional. The blade is burnished, with a flat grind and a thick, durable tip. Characteristical lowered flat areas in the handle – also burnished black give access to the opening “pins”, which don’t protrude from the knife when closed. The reversible clip is located on the back of the blade and engulfs its tang – making it discreet to carry. Employs the trustworthy LINER-LOCK blade blocking system. Cet Extrema Ratio Satre Stone Washed a été conçu en collaboration avec Daniele Dal Canto, Master Advanced F.I.S.S.S. instructeur (Fédération Italienne du Sport et de la Survie Expérimentale). Le Satre est fabriqué en acier Böhler N690 traité thermiquement à 58 HRC. Ce matériau a été choisi pour sa résistance à l'oxydation, pour la durabilité de sa tranche et surtout pour sa fiabilité qui a fait ses preuves au fil des années. Compte tenu de ses caractéristiques, il peut être utilisé dans une grande variété d’activités et de domaines, notamment la survie et le bushcraft, ou bien faire partie d’un EDC. Il peut être porté comme un couteau de cou grâce à sa lanière Paracord 550. La structure squelettée pleine soie permet la personnalisation du couteau en utilisant la Paracord comme couvre-manche.

Ce couteau tactique fiable Extrema Ratio Selvans Expeditions est extrêmement polyvalent et solide. La lame est en acier Böhler N690, recouverte d'oxyde noir MIL-C-13924. L'Extrema Ratio K -Talon Stone Washed est un karambit à lame fixe avec une structure pleine soie. La lame incurvée et crochue s'inspire de la forme d'une serre. Il est conçu pour réaliser des coupes nettes et profondes ainsi que pour accrocher, saisir et/ou déchirer. L'anneau à l'arrière est conçu pour assurer une prise sûre et ferme dans toutes les situations. De cette façon, le couteau ne glisse pas et il est extrêmement difficile de le désarmer et de le pointer vers l'utilisateur. L'Extrema Ratio K-Talon Dark Stone est un karambit de hoja fija avec une structure d'ombre complète. Vous avez une forme particulière donnée avec un observateur de seulement 10 mm, y compris vaina et escamas. La hoja curva et la forme du gancho sont inspirées par la forme d'un garra. DMP est un couteau polyvalent caractérisé par une remarquable polyvalence d'utilisation grâce également à sa taille moyenne. La lame drop point à pointe renforcée est particulièrement utile pour les utilisations les plus intensives. La rectification entièrement plate offre d'excellentes caractéristiques de coupe. La gaine est minimaliste ; la majeure partie du tissu a été coupée ; il dispose d'un système de rétention de 2ème niveau, rappelant le style du modèle dont il s'est inspiré. La coque principale est moulée par injection en nylon antichoc. Le système de rétention secondaire est réversible pour les utilisateurs ambidextres. Le modèle DMP est disponible en versions Black, Desert, HCS, Ranger Green, Wolf Grey.

Rendu célèbre par les régiments Gurkha servant sous la couronne britannique, le « kukri » est une lame népalaise polyvalente issue des anciennes épées grecques en forme de faucille. Il s’agit en fin de compte d’une machette dotée d’un tranchant très lourd et positionné vers l’avant, ce qui lui permet de fonctionner comme une hache tout en conservant la polyvalence d’une longue lame. Extrema Ratio a développé deux de ces outils, nos modèles KS et KH, mêlant concepts de design anciens et modernes. Les deux utilisent des moutures combinées. L'émouture creuse semblable à un rasoir est plus proche de la poignée et donne un bord fin et tranchant sans compromettre l'épaisseur totale du dos de la lame (qui nécessite une grande robustesse). La partie de pointe de la lame est plutôt plate, bien inclinée pour pénétrer sans effort dans le bois et la végétation. Alors que des outils similaires sont généralement fabriqués à partir d'alliages d'acier plus doux pour plus d'élasticité et de facilité d'affûtage, nous avons pu obtenir une élasticité adéquate en utilisant l'acier dur BÖHLER N690, ce qui donne un bord remarquable et durable.

Extrema Ratio T911 folder is a light, medium sized folding knife, designed for professional use by military operators. It features a Bohler N690 cobalt steel modified spearpoint blade heat treated to 58 HRC for best compromise between toughness, ease of sharpening and edge retention.
The blade is 76 mm (3”) long and 4 mm (0.16”) thick, with a stone washed finish and flat edge, and rotates around a pin that can be adjusted for tension, allowing the user to achieve the desired smoothness while deploying the blade. Once adjusted, a secondary screw locks the pin in position.
The handle is hard anodized Anticorodal aluminum alloy, with a black finish, shaped for ease of transition between reverse and saber grip. The blade deploys from the folded position by the usual thumb stud and is secured by a liner lock with an additional safety system to insure maximum reliability under hard use. The safety lever is red colored for better visibility and engages the safety in its forward position for a more instinctive use.
The handle has an integrated belt cutter with easily available industrial grade cutter blades, tungsten carbide glass breaker, a stainless-steel folding marlin-spike and a flat screwdriver in AISI 420 steel, meant to help in rifle scope adjustment. A clip is fixed at the end of the handle, allowing for a deep, concealed carry position with very little of the knife exposed. The clip can be reversed from left to right side. Overall 194 mm. Weight 145 g. Made in Italy.

The ergonomic tan-colored handle uses anodized aluminum alloy and the stonewashed streamlined blade is made from Böhler N690 cobalt steel. The guard also acts as a flipper, and the high-speed auxiliary knife opening system makes it easy to use.

Ce couteau pliant Extrema Ratio Glauca J1 a été développé en collaboration avec des experts en matériaux de l'unité Jagdkommando, la force spéciale de l'armée autrichienne. La pointe de la lame est conçue pour maximiser la pénétration. Il dispose également d'un brise-vitre, d'un clip avec trois positions de fixation et d'un verrou de sécurité. Sa poignée est produite avec une finition particulière, améliorant sa prise en main. La gaine desert kydex est compatible avec le système M. O. L. L. E. et accueille le couteau avec sa lame étendue.

Extrema Ratio N.K.1 Desert Warfare version. Extrema Ratio N.K.1 Black fixed is a reduced-size knife is based on the skinner and perfected to a true tactical knife. The design of the handle prevents accidental injury while drawing. A groove on the back of the blade accommodates for the user’s index finger or thumb, according to wielding style. Due to its overall construction, the N.K.1 is both capable of offense, through very effective slashing strikes, and useful for minute precision work. Total length 129 mm. Blade length 51 mm. Weight 56 g. The included, rapid- release Kydex sheath comes with a paracord strip for neck carry. Further, it can be attached via MOLLE system to tactical vests or to any of the compatible cordura sheaths from Extrema Ratio. MF0 Black T Ruvido is a smallest knife from Extrema Ratio MF series. MF stands for Medium Folder: a product line positioning itself between the BF (Basic Folder) and the Heavy Folder lines. MF knives employ the LINER-LOCK mechanism and are distinguished for their sturdiness; all are equipped with a glass-breaker. An innovative supplementary screw can be unlocked to enable fine-tuning of the main screw, adjusting opening speed to taste. Hemispheric milling marks on handles make it easier to change from saber-style to reverse grip. Clips are reversible. Model MF0 is “the little one” amongst MF knives – basically a compact version of the MF1. It retains all the characteristics of MF1 but has a downsized handle and shortened blade, similar to our SHRAPNEL “back-up” knife.

Extrema Ratio BD2 R is a medium folder of the BD series. Its handle produced in aluminum makes it light and resistant, also thanks to its steel internal frame. They keep all BD2 characteristics, improved with the new high speed Razor opening system.

Extrema Ratio BD1 R is a new knife designed for lightness. It is characterized by a very slim profile with a focus on lightness, without renouncing the usual Extrema Ratio toughness and reliability, also thanks to the black anodized, Anticorodal grip. The modified spearpoint, satin blade is made in Bohler N690 steel hardened to 58 HRC, 2.75” (70mm) long, 0.1” (2.5 mm) thick, with a plain sharpening and a faux edge on the first third of the spine. The blade is deployed by the usual “Razor” tang extension which enables effortless ambidextrous operation. A simple yet sturdy liner lock system holds the blade open. The reversible clip with lightening holes contributes to maintain the weight of the knife to a minimum. Scallops milled in the handle help to guarantee a solid grip on the knife and facilitate grip transitions. With an overall length of 6.7” (170 mm) and a weight of just 2.7 oz (75 g) the Extrema Ratio BD1 R is an extremely light and slim knife which makes it an ideal EDC choice.

This version of Extrema Ratio MF2 is produced with a rough handle for a better grip ("ruvido" means "rough" in italian language). Model MF2 features twin guards, making the grip extremely stable and preventing any event of a user’s hand slipping onto the blade. The blade-mounted guard enables quick opening with the index finger. MF2 ORDINANZA COL MOSCHIN is the version issued to 9th Parachute Assault Regiment “Col Moschin”: decorated with regimental logos, it comes in an engraved ABS case.

In June 2006, the “185° Rgt. Ricognizione e Acquisizione Obiettivi” (Target Acquisition Regiment) airborne “FOLGORE” (185° RAO) entrusted to Extrema Ratio the development of a unique knife fitting the unit’s specific operational duties. This resulted in the RAO: not an oversized folder as much as a compact survival & field knife, with a heavy and dependable blade. Its very reliable locking system, assisted by an extra safety device, effectively turns this folder into a fixed blade knife. The opening and closing is to be performed with both hands in order to minimize the risk of self-inflicted injuries, as the blade, because of its weight, is a veritable guillotine. The extra safe device is a steel pin to be hand-screwed through two holes by the guard section of the massive Anticorodal aluminum handle – its presence between blade and hand also acting as a great psychological boon. The sheath is an essential part of this weapon system: it holds a diamond-plate sharpener and enables user to carry the knife either in open position, held in place by a cord and two clips, or closed, inside the front pocket. The sheath can be attached to tactical vests or common belts, being MOLLE system-compliant.

The Extrema Ratio Ermes is a full-black commemorative knife designed by the Special Operations Helicopter Regiment (R.E.O.S.), which is part of the Italian Army Aviation. R.E.O.S. is a helicopter operational unit supporting the special forces, composed of personnel specially trained and equipped to support hostilities in each operational context. The stylized knife guard represents the wings present in the regiment's heraldic symbol. Hybrid Kydex and fabric sheath has a belt attachment with MOLLE system.

Extrema Ratio Herring is one of the fan favorite military daggers. The dagger that entered the history of Italy during the World War II, thanks to the deeds of the young soldiers of the 1st Reconnaissance Squadron Folgore, armed with this weapon during Operation Herring. Extrema Ratio wanted to pay homage to this dagger while retaining the original design using most modern production techniques. The unique handcrafted finish on the handle mimics the aging of brass and gives the dagger a vintage look. The Herring NE version has an unsharpened cutting edge, which allows you to safely store this dagger.

Extrema Ratio MF0 is a multifunctional folding knife, which is the lightest model in the MF (Medium Folder) line. The knife retains all the characteristics of the MF1, being in fact a smaller version of it. The knife is equipped with a 7 cm blade. The knife blade is made of Austrian alloy steel Böhler N690 (58 HRC), traditional for Extrema Ratio.
