L'Extrema Ratio S-THIL Stone Washed est un couteau tactique de secours de construction monolithique fraisé à partir d'une barre de 5 mm (0,2”) d'acier BOHLER N690, développé en coopération avec le designer Thilo Arnd Schiller. La lame à pointe de lance est traitée thermiquement à 58 HRC pour une meilleure combinaison de rétention des arêtes et de ténacité. Il a un faux double tranchant pour le rendre très efficace dans la poussée et le perçage et a un fuller pleine longueur qui s'écoule élégamment de la lame dans le manche. La lame est fraisée intégralement au couteau pour une meilleure compacité et légèreté, avec une épaisseur minimale mais avec un motif qui rappelle la poignée de couteau classique Extrema Ratio. Ce profil crée deux petites protections et un repose-pouce confortable pour empêcher la main de glisser vers la lame. Sur le pommeau, il y a un broyeur de crâne en forme de diamant et une fente pour une dragonne ou pour donner au couteau une pellicule de poignée en paracorde.

Le Satre est fabriqué en acier Böhler N690 traité thermiquement à 58 HRC. Ce matériau a été choisi pour sa résistance à l'oxydation, pour la durabilité de sa tranche et surtout pour sa fiabilité qui a fait ses preuves au fil des années. Compte tenu de ses caractéristiques, il peut être utilisé dans une grande variété d’activités et de domaines, notamment la survie et le bushcraft, ou bien faire partie d’un EDC. Il peut être porté comme un couteau de cou grâce à sa lanière Paracord 550. La structure squelettée pleine soie permet la personnalisation du couteau en utilisant la Paracord comme couvre-manche.
