RAO AVIO is the survival version chosen by the Italian Air Force to complement the equipment package of Eurofighter Typhoon aircrafts. The sheath holds the knife in open position. The improved survival kit includes: whistle, pocket chain saw, water purifying tabs, compass, copper wire, flint and fire striker, LED light, 2.5 mts paracord and diamond-plate sharpener. The kit is contained in a pocket fastened to the sheath by a MOLLE system.
