I coltelli pieghevoli Extrema Ratio combinano la robustezza militare con la semplicità d'uso civile. Inizialmente, il marchio, fondato nel 1997 in Italia, sviluppava coltelli per le forze speciali. Quasi tutti i coltelli pieghevoli Extrema Ratio sono realizzati in acciaio Böhler N690 di alta qualità e alluminio anodizzato. Alcuni modelli utilizzano acciaio M390. Tra le serie di coltelli pieghevoli più popolari troviamo:

- BF (Basic Folder): coltelli compatti e leggeri come il BF1 e il BF2, ideali per l'uso quotidiano.

- BD2 e BD4: coltelli pieghevoli tattici con doppia guardia. Le versioni Contractor sono dotate di lame a doppio filo.

- MF (Medium Folder): i modelli MF1 e MF2 sono progettati per compiti tattici e possono sostituire un coltello a lama fissa in termini di funzionalità. Dotati di rompivetro e clip reversibile.

- MF1 Evo: una serie aggiornata con un sistema di bloccaggio Hidden Lock migliorato e lame in acciaio M390/N690.

- Ant - Coltelli EDC compatti con lama da 5 cm, popolari per il trasporto quotidiano.

- RAO - Coltelli potenti con un esclusivo sistema di bloccaggio, progettati per compiti tattici impegnativi.

Molte serie di coltelli pieghevoli Extrema Ratio includono versioni speciali da soccorso progettate per l'uso in condizioni estreme. Tutti i coltelli sono dotati di clip da tasca che può essere riposizionata su un lato comodo. La maggior parte delle serie include coltelli con profili Spear Point, Drop Point e Sheepfoot. Extrema Ratio Resolza 10 is a folding knife with stonewashed blade that pays homage to centuries of tradition of Italia. The traditional Sardinian resolza is one of the most famous Italian knives. So far it is a constant companion of island farmers and shepherds in their daily work. The knife accompanied them even when people were called to war: during the World War I in the chronicles of Sassari the knife is mentioned as part of equipment of soldiers. Resolza 10 is an attempt to redefine the traditional silhouette in accordance with the modern Extrema Ratio standards, so as not to overlook the Sardinian craftsmen, who still preserve ancient traditions and practice ingrained knife-making techniques. Resolza 10 retains its original dimensions and proportions, but is manufactured using modern company technologies and high quality materials. The handle has been redesigned, and the blade is more closely approximated to the traditional shape.

Extrema Ratio MF0 D Black Rough folder is “the little one” amongst MF knives. Basically it is a compact version of the MF1. It retains all the characteristics of MF1 but has a downsized handle and shortened blade, similar to our SHRAPNEL “back-up” knife. This versione is produced with a rough handle for a better grip. The drop point blade 68 mm is made of Bohler N690 stainless steel (58HRC). Black aluminum handle. 
MF stands for Medium Folder: a product line positioning itself between the BF (Basic Folder) and the Heavy Folder lines. MF knives employ the LINER-LOCK mechanism and are distinguished for their sturdiness; all are equipped with a glass-breaker. An innovative supplementary screw can be unlocked to enable fine-tuning of the main screw, adjusting opening speed to taste. Hemispheric milling marks on handles make it easier to change from saber-style to reverse grip. Clips are reversible. Overall length 181 mm. Weight 139 g. Made in Italy.
