Coltelli a lama fissa SOG: tattici e outdoor

I coltelli a lama fissa SOG sono strettamente legati alla storia militare degli Stati Uniti. Il loro design si ispira al leggendario coltello SOG Bowie, creato per le forze speciali MACV-SOG durante la guerra del Vietnam. Nel 1986, il fondatore dell'azienda, Spencer Fraser, ricreò il SOG Bowie originale, segnando l'inizio della produzione in serie. Già nel 2000, il modello Navy Seal 2000 divenne il coltello ufficiale dei Navy Seals statunitensi.

Oggi, la gamma di coltelli a lama fissa SOG comprende modelli sia tattici che utility. I più popolari sono il SOG Bowie, le serie SEAL Pup e Pentagon, prodotte in diverse varianti. Per la produzione delle lame, SOG utilizza acciai di alta qualità come CPM S35VN, AUS-8 e CTS XHP, spesso trattati criogenicamente per una maggiore resistenza all'usura. La maggior parte delle impugnature è dotata di un poggiadito ed è realizzata in GRN testurizzato.
