SOG Fixed Blade Knives: Tactical & Outdoor

SOG fixed blade knives are closely connected with the military history of the USA. Their design is inspired by the legendary SOG Bowie knife, created for the MACV-SOG special forces during the Vietnam War. In 1986, the founder of the company Spencer Fraser recreated the original SOG Bowie, marking the beginning of serial production. Already in 2000, the Navy Seal 2000 model became the official knife of the US Navy Seals.

Today, the range of SOG fixed knives includes both tactical and utility models. The most popular are SOG Bowie, the SEAL Pup and Pentagon series, produced in different modifications. For the production of blades, SOG uses premium steels such as CPM S35VN, AUS-8, and CTS XHP, often cryogenically treated for increased wear resistance. Most handles have a finger rest and are made of textured GRN.

The SOG Pentagon FX knife is designed for defense. It can also be used for various tactical tasks, as a camping knife, or as a survival knife. The overall length of the knife is 25.4 cm. The blade is made of S35VN stainless steel and is 12.1 cm long with a black TiNi coating. The black G10 handle has removable scales. The black GRN MOLLE belt sheath is compatible with the universal attachment system.
