SOG Cuchillos De Hoja Fija

Los cuchillos de hoja fija SOG están estrechamente vinculados a la historia militar de EE. UU. Su diseño está inspirado en el legendario cuchillo Bowie SOG, creado para las fuerzas especiales MACV-SOG durante la Guerra de Vietnam. En 1986, el fundador de la empresa, Spencer Fraser, recreó el SOG Bowie original y lo puso en producción. Ya en el año 2000, el modelo Navy Seal 2000 se convirtió en el cuchillo oficial de los Navy Seals de Estados Unidos. Hoy en día, la gama de cuchillos de hoja fija SOG incluye modelos tanto tácticos como de uso general.

Los cuchillos más populares son el SOG Bowie, así como las series SEAL Pup y Pentagon, que están disponibles en diferentes modificaciones. SOG utiliza aceros de primera calidad como CPM S35VN, AUS-8 y CTS XHP para producir sus hojas, a menudo tratadas criogénicamente para una mayor resistencia al desgaste. La mayoría de los mangos tienen un descanso para los dedos y están hechos de GRN texturizado.
