Das Ontario RAT-2 plain edge ist der kleine Bruder des RAT-1. Ontario hat für der Klinge AUS8-Stahl gewählt. Als Klingenform wurde ein klassischer Droppoint gewählt. Die Klinge ist mit einer schwarzen Beschichtung versehen, die vor Rost und Reflexionen schützt. Das Taschenmesser kannst Du einhändig mit dem doppelten Daumenpin öffnen. Im geöffneten Zustand wird die Klinge durch einen Liner-Lock gesichert. Die Oberseite des Messers ist gerippt, so hat Dein Daumen einen noch besseren Halt. Der Pocketclip kann an vier verschiedenen Stellen angebracht werden: oben, unten, links und rechts. Der Griff des RAT-2 ist aus Braun Nylon gefertigt. Das Ontario SP-10 Raider Bowie ist ein großes Messer mit feststehender Klinge, hergestellt in den Vereinigten Staaten. Es ist den klassischen Bowiemessern des Wilden Westens nachempfunden, jedoch in einer modernen und taktischen Ausführung. Da der Schwerpunkt bei diesem Messers ganz vorn liegt, spürt man sofort, dass sich dieses Messer perfekt zum Hacken eignet. Seine beachtliche Klingenstärke gibt dafür ausreichend Sicherheit. Die Hechtklinge ist aus 1075-Kohlenstoffstahl gefertigt Eine sehr robuste Stahlsorte, die einiges einstecken kann. Außerdem kannst Du diesen Stahl auch gut selbst (unterwegs) nachschleifen. Der Griff ist eine Vollerl-Ausführung und verläuft somit durch den gesamten Griff. Der Griff aus Kraton ist um diese Zange geformt. Dies ist ein gummiartiges Material, das sehr guten Halt bietet. Zusammen mit dem Fingerschutz aus Stahl kannst Du Dir sicher sein, dass Du einen guten Griff hast. Das Ontario SP10 wird mit einer effektiven Nylonscheide geliefert. Diese ist selbst für sehr breite Gürtel (bis zu 7 cm) geeignet und ist MOLLE-kompatibel.
