Das geradlinige Böker Tiger-Damast 111103DAM ist mit einer einzigartigen Damastklinge ausgestattet, die aus dem Stahl des bei Bauska zerstörten Kampfpanzers gefertigt wird. Der nicht rostfreie Mosaikdamast wird für uns von Hand von Chad Nichols im Muster Intrepid geschmiedet und erinnert an die Panzerspuren, die von den schweren Ketten des Tigers im Boden zurückbleiben. Anders als bei herkömmlichem Damast werden bei der Herstellung von Mosaikdamast keine Lagen erzeugt, sondern komplexe Damastbarren in einem aufwendigen und sehr komplizierten Prozess von Hand zu einem Mosaik verschmiedet. Die kugelgelagerte Klinge wird per Daumenpin geöffnet und von einem stabilen Stahl-Framelock mit Stonewash-Finish arretiert, ein Hinderer Lock-Stop fungiert als Überdehnschutz für die Verriegelung. Die Gesamtform des Messers ist eine Hommage an die berühmte Linienführung des Panzers, während die dekorative Klingenachsschraube dem Hauptantriebskettenrad nachempfunden ist. Die leicht konturierte Griffschale aus Jute Micarta ist mit präzise gefrästen Rillen versehen und erinnert so an die charakteristische Oberflächenstruktur der Zimmerit-Beschichtung deutscher Panzerfahrzeuge. In dieser besonders edlen Ausführung ist das traditionelle Taschenmesser mit einer dunklen Klinge aus Dragonskin-Damast von Bertie Rietveld ausgestattet, die auf 58 HRC gehärtet ist. Der südafrikanische Custom Knifemaker gilt als erster Damastschmied des Landes und schmiedet seit 1991 Hochleistungsdamast mit außergewöhnlichen Mustern.
