This is by no means the successor to the already known device (09DX003) but rather a device that gives the user more options than the original. While the basic operation is identical to the standard Work Sharp Knife and Tool Sharpener, the large selection of options of the Ken Onion edition also calls for a little more experience with the 'knife sharpening' topic. For users who are looking for ease of handling with professional results, the basic model continues to be highly recommended.
