The extremely stable body of Böker Scout knife is from a single piece nickel silver which is produced by sintering. The hollow ground blade made of stainless N690 is forged by Böhler and contributes with its memorable shape to the incomparable appearance of the Scout. A classic Backlock keeps the blade safely open. When the knife is opened, the spine locks into a notch on the back of the blade. To close the knife, push down the exposed part of the spine. La più antica azienda tedesca produttrice di coltelli, Böker, fu fondata nel XVII secolo (Remscheid). Oggi Böker produce alcuni dei migliori coltelli pieghevoli, coltelli da esterno, coltelli tattici e coltelli da caccia al mondo. Come la stragrande maggioranza delle aziende tardo-medievali, Böker era un'azienda a conduzione familiare fondata dal capofamiglia. L'officina, e poco dopo una piccola fabbrica per la produzione di lame di alta qualità, si trovava nell'angolo più bello della Germania: un bosco di castagni. Questo albero imponente divenne il simbolo della famosa azienda tedesca.

Non tutti i coltelli Böker vengono prodotti a Solingen, in Germania. Ora parte della capacità produttiva del leggendario produttore tedesco è stata trasferita a Taiwan e in Cina per ottimizzare i costi di produzione (Böker Plus e Böker Magnum). Tutti gli stabilimenti Böker sono dotati delle attrezzature più avanzate e il controllo qualità dei prodotti realizzati viene effettuato centralmente e con la massima scrupolosità.
