The handle scales made of local walnut complete the elegant appearance, while a reliable back-lock ensures the secure locking of the blade. The bolsters of the elegant pocket-knife, on the other hand, are handcrafted by Chad Nichols according to an old Japanese model from Mokume, a combination of different non-ferrous metals that are partially amalgamated and forged together in a complex process to create a Damascus-like pattern.
