The MAMU is SBW's take on the classic field knife, recently featured on the Discovery Channel. The 420HC steel blade is PVD-coated for an anti-reflective finish and protection against rust and the elements. The MAMU features a black, ergonomic G10 handle. It comes with a sheath, allowing for multiple uses. The overall length is 295 mm, and the blade is 139 mm. It features a full-tang design and a lanyard hole on the handle. The Sniper Bladeworks Mamu Black knife weighs approximately 600 g.
Founded by knife designer Lance Abernathy in 2009, Sniper Bladeworks pioneered ergonomic "pistol grip" handles and cutting-edge knife designs that catapulted the company to the top of the custom knife-making game. Lance's DMF was featured on the cover of Blade Magazine, one of many articles that have been written about Lance and his knives. Thereafter, Lance's MAMU was featured on Discovery Channel's popular Man, Woman, Wild. Sniper Bladeworks draws its greatest satisfaction, however, from the many special forces, SWAT, and other tactical men and women who choose our blades as their personal carry when deployed or on missions.
