The handy Boker Copperhead Bone Green 119958 is another classic knife shape that was already created at the beginning of the 20th century and still enjoys great popularity today. The pocket knife owes its name to the copperhead snake from North America, whose characteristic head shape is reminiscent of the front of the knife. The unusual shape of the protects the inner lining of the trouser pocket from the edges of the protruding back of the blade. The polished blade of stainless, ice-hardened 440C is opened by nail nick and does not lock. The handle scales are made of dark green coloured bone and always lie securely in the hand thanks to their non-slip structure. Supplied with nickel silver bolsters and a high-quality felt case for storage. Handmade in the Boker Knife Manufactory in Solingen.
The oldest German knife company Böker was founded in the 17th century (Remscheid). Today Böker produces one of the world's best folding knives, outdoor knives, tactical knives and hunting knives. Like the vast majority of late medieval businesses, Böker was a family business founded by the head of the family. The workshop, and a little later a small factory for the production of high-quality blades, was located in the most beautiful corner of Germany - a grove of spreading chestnut trees. This powerful tree became the symbol of the famous German company.
Not all Böker knives are producing in Solingen, Germany. Now the part of the legendary German manufacturer’s capacity has been transferred to Taiwan and China in order to optimize production costs (Böker Plus and Böker Magnum). All Böker factories are equipped with the most advanced equipment, and quality control of manufactured products is carried out centrally and very scrupulously.
