The Apus front flipper from designer Henar and Kizer Cutlery has a thick handle and slender blade creating a unique look and feel in the hand. It comes in multiple variations which also drastically change how this knife looks and feels as a part of your EDC loadout. The carbon fiber model is, of course, the lightest of the bunch while the genuine copper inlaid model is on the opposite end of the spectrum and is quite heavy for its size. However, this weight is something we're willing to deal with as it will age and patina over time and look like a completely different knife in a couple of months compared to now. The Apus is a versatile design that is set to serve you well for years to come.

A modern approach to production and high-tech equipment have made Kizer knives popular all over the world. Kizer Cutlery entered the pocket knife market in 2012. Dedicated to quality materials and process, they are one of the first companies to successfully create a high quality, Chinese-made knife. Cutting their part with wire EDM machines allows for a slower, more calibrated process and gives their knives very tight tolerances.
