Marttiini knives have been one of the symbols of Finland for many years. Traditional Finnish knives "puukko" produced by Marttiini are known all over the world. The blacksmith Janne Marttiini started making knives back in 1902. And in 1928 he came to the city of Rovaniemi and founded his own company. The blades of Marttiini knives are made of special chrome-plated stainless steel, as well as carbon steel. Traditional "puukko" have classic wooden handles. The series of knives for hunting and fishing are equipped with handles made of rubber and plastic. The most famous Marttiini knives are the traditional knives of the Lynx series (Ilves). Marttiini produces the Knife of the Year every year. Such models are available in limited editions and are becoming popular with collectors. If you want to buy a traditional Finnish knife, you will definitely find a suitable model in our range of Marttiini knives.
