Atwood Rope MFG paracord in Ground War color complies with the Type III 550 standard and is a general-purpose nylon cord. It has a diameter of approximately 4 mm, a length of approximately 30 m (100 ft), and a breaking strength of approximately 249 kg. Its construction includes a braided outer sheath and a core of seven inner strands, which can be used individually if necessary. The material is resistant to moisture, UV, and temperature fluctuations. The Ground War version features a camouflage pattern in muted green and brown tones, designed for minimal visibility in the wild. This type of paracord is not intended for belay or climbing applications.
