The central structural difference to the M4 Damascus model is the flipper, elegantly integrated into the contours, which allows the blade to slide open smoothly with a small impulse and invites you to play. The ball-bearing blade is opened alternatively by thumb stud and locked by a sturdy titanium framelock with stonewash finish. An overdrive stop acts as an over-extension protection for the lock. The milled titanium clip (tip-up/r) with a steel ball as well as the handle scales made of wild carbon fibre complete the harmonious overall picture.
A special highlight of the Boker Sherman EDC is the protruding backspacer made of Damascus, which is equipped with a lanyard hole in elongated slotted design. The Damascus of the backspacer was forged from various materials from the production of M4 Sherman tanks by Chad Nichols in the Customized Ladder pattern and is reminiscent of the tank tracks left in the ground by the heavy chains of the M4 Sherman.

Kebony is actually not a type of wood, but rather an improvement of traditional, softer Northern wood. By adding furfuryl alcohol (based on waste biomass), the cell structure is altered in a secret process. The infusion locks the wood cells and strengthens the material by 50% in the process and stabilizes the wood.If sealed with oil and treated occasionally, the handle will remain dark. If untreated, it will turn grey and get an aged look.
This unique pocket knife takes its name from a small and rugged hill known as “Kletten” by the locals, situated near the Helle factory and overlooking the small village of Holmedal.
The short blade is made from Helle triple laminated stainless steel and has a classic Scandinavian grind.

The rack holds a minimum of 5 knives. All the magnets are cut from a piece of wood of the mentioned length, but since all the magnets are made by hand and otherwise are different from each other, the length can also vary by 2 – 3 centimetres. Length: 37-40 cm, width: 7-9 cm, depth: 3 cm.
For each individual knife, there are five small neodymium magnets, which ensure that the knife does not hang and “dangle” around a single magnet.

The handle will retain its shape and has easy care properties. The knife is finely balanced to make cutting an effortless and pleasurable task. The double-edged blade and Honbazuke honing give the knife its sharpness. The authentic Japanese blade profile ensures the 14 cm long shotoh is easy to use and will stay sharp. The blade is manufactured from MicroCarbide powder steel embedded between two additional steel layers. The central section achieves a hardness rating of around 63 Rockwell. The knife also undergoes special hardening procedures such as ice hardening at -196 degrees Celsius. This increases the blade's stability, flexibility, durability and robustness to provide you with a practical and sharp knife to effortlessly carry out a multitude of kitchen tasks.
