VENATUS F Black satin è un nuovo coltello da caccia del produttore italiano Extrema Ratio. Questa è la prima serie da caccia creata per coloro che percepiscono la caccia non come un divertimento, ma come un antico linguaggio di osservazione, pazienza e rispetto. Questa versione del coltello VENATUS è dotata di una lama in acciaio Böhler N690. Finitura satinata della lama. Impugnatura confortevole ed ergonomica con rivestimenti in G10. Ogni coltello VENATUS viene fornito con un fodero in pelle realizzato con la stessa cura della lama stessa. Ma non si tratta solo di estetica: è un elemento tecnico progettato per adattarsi al corpo e ai movimenti del cacciatore. Questo è il primo fodero in pelle modulare simmetrico, che consente diverse opzioni di trasporto: attacco verticale alla cintura o alla coscia, oppure trasporto orizzontale tramite la cinghia posteriore staccabile.

The steel of the MG-42 is forged by experienced partner Chad Nicols into the heart of the dagger, the double-edged blade with a discreet hollow groove on both sides. The chosen Damascus pattern, Low Layer Raindrop (40 layers) is excellently accentuated by the symmetrical profile of the blade.
The dagger's toggle and pommel are made of solid stainless steel. In the pommel, the cooling fins and gas outlets of the recoil amplifier (actually a combined component with the functions of a recoil amplifier, a flash hider and a barrel guide sleeve) were incorporated as a design element. Nevertheless, form followed function here as well, for the grooves increase the grip of the dagger in the reverse grip. The toggle and pommel joinlessly hold the barrel-shaped roll of polished desert ironwood, which is automatically centred in the hand by its shape. During the positional war during the First World War and the resulting trench warfare, many of the insufficiently equipped soldiers developed auxiliary weapons, which were manufactured in field forges and workshops on and behind the front. In the course of the battles, however, it became clear that the soldiers' equipment and armament did not meet the requirements of this particular fighting style. In 1915 Boker was therefore commissioned by the Ministry of War to develop a compact combat knife that was ideally suited for precisely this purpose. The true-to-the-original Boker Trench Knife also has a stainless steel blade made of C75. This carbon steel with an enormous edge retention requires appropriate care today as it did then. The massive stainless steel crossguard, the old official tang stamp on the blade, the ribbed wood handle and the authentic sheath made of high-quality leather are also part of the original equipment. The knives are marked with a serial number.
