The STAUB "La Coquette" is a vintage-design enamelled cocotte, perfect for cooking and presenting one-pot dishes like roasts, stews and casseroles at the table. Serves 2-3 people. The cast iron construction makes sure second helpings are piping hot whilst the high-handles give an easy grip. This black Staub vintage cocotte is around 14.8 cm high, 20 cm in diametre and has a 2.45 l capacity. It is made of cast iron, the ideal material for slow cooking of meat, fish or vegetables. Cast iron retains heat for long periods and then gradually releases it during the cooking process. It is also very good at keeping food cold so is ideal for preparing desserts.
