This Bastinelli Mako model comes equipped with a wrapped by paracord handle and a black PVD finished blade. The full tang blade measures 4.625" in length, made from N690Co stainless steel with a black PVD stonewashed finish. The handle is done in Bastien's signature custom style cord wrap and is extremely comfortable to hold and to use with a one-inch diameter pinky ring for maximum security during tactical maneuvers. The friction fit Kydex sheath included a Tek-Lok style retention clip so you can carry it in a number of different orientations depending on your preference. Fit it to your belt or hang it around your neck, this knife makes both a great tactical tool as well as a functional EDC fixed blade.

It's modeled after the Dragotac, the knife that put Bastinelli on the map, and Fox has done an incredible job turning this knife into a born and bred flipper. The aesthetic lines and ergonomics that put the blade right in line with your fingers allow you to transfer more force into the cut with less effort. It measures 8.625" overall with a 3.875" stonewashed Elmax blade. It rides on bearings for smooth, crisp action while a replaceable lockbar insert/overtravel arrestor ensures years of solid lockup. The last thing we need to highlight about this knife is its incredible fit and finish. For a production knife, it sits perfectly centered with smooth, authoritative action and a perfectly jimped thumb ramp that is just icing on the cake. Instead of the traditional hawkbill blade shape, you find a karambit design, this one has an upswept shape with a bottle opener machined into the thumb ramp.
