The Tao 2 is the second pen designed by award-winning knife designer Allen Elishewitz for CRKT. Drawing from his experience in martial arts, Allen has created another fine writing and self-defense implement. The Tao 2 is made from a billet of 6061 aircraft grade aluminum and features a Fisher Space Pen ink cartridge. Using an o-ring, the cap on the Tao 2 can be quickly removed from one end and pop it on the other side and back again without the need to twist. The Böker Plus CID cal. 45 New Gen Aluminum Grey 09BO086 is a tactical pen that sets new standards in design and technology. Rainer Wenning, who has already developed the Böker Plus pocket sticks SO4PRO-K, and the knifemaker Thomas Braunagel (BFK) designed it. The use of a bayonet mechanism is revolutionary. In purely functional terms, the bayonet mechanism significantly increases operating comfort, as neither a cap has to be unscrewed nor the lead unscrewed for writing.
