The Cold Steel Thai Machete represents the culmination of over 4 years of development and improvement. Like Thai swords, this machete is perfectly balanced. While these long, curved blades are most commonly used in traditional Thai martial arts training, they are surprisingly versatile. Light enough to rotate with one hand, but long enough to use with two hands. The wide profile of the Thai machete and curved cutting edge make it an excellent tool for gardening. Its fully sharpened blade is made from tough 1055 carbon steel. The polypropylene handle is oval in shape, and the steel-framed guard provides extra hand protection. Thai machete comes with Cor-Ex sheath.

Cold Steel knives today are a symbol of quality and durability. Since 1980, Cold Steel has been making the toughest knives, folding knives, hatchets, swords and other outdoor products, as well as kitchen knives. Many Cold Steel knives, such as Recon 1, Espada, Ti-Lite, American Lawman and others, have become legends. Cold Steel was founded by Lynn Thompson in 1980 in the USA. Thompson is a martial artist, weapons researcher and knife designer who knows exactly what is needed from a knife in any given situation. The advantage of Cold Steel knives is that they are not afraid of the most severe tests and heavy tasks.
