Handmade finnish knife "puukko" Korpikannel 1957 with flint inside of the handle. Red sheath with salmon skin upper part. Sharpening bar in the handle also can be used for fire making. Bolsters are made of brass. Blade lenght is 75 mm, made of carbon steel. Handle: acryl.

Korpikannel is a small Finnish family workshop founded in 1957, specializing in the hand-made production of traditional puukko knives. Currently, all knives are made by Aarno Korpikannel based on blades forged by master Toivo Jaaranen. In addition to the original acrylic and birch handles, all Finnish Korpikannel knives are equipped with unique salmon leather sheaths, which give the knives a distinctive style.
The brand's range includes various puukko versions, differing in blade length (75–95 mm), finishing materials and decorative elements. Some Korpikannel knife models are equipped with brass pommels in the shape of, for example, an elk head. And some contain a fire starter hidden in the handle. Finnish traditional Korpikannel knives are suitable for both everyday use and collecting, and are ideal as gifts.
