The Böker Plus Cataclyst Flipjoint 01BO675 convinces as a combination of a modern EDC and a high-quality gentleman's accessory also as a slipjoint knife all along the line. In this version, the blade also opens easily via a flipper, does not lock when open, but is merely held securely in position by a detent ball. With appropriate pressure on the back of the blade, the blade can be folded without releasing a locking device. To ensure that no doubts arise when carrying the Cataclyst Flipjoint, have explicitly had a declaratory notice drawn up for the legal weapons classification of a knife supplied with a ball holder for the blade. The BKA (declaratory ruling Z-524) shares our view that the blade holder with the aid of the detent ball does not constitute a locking device within the meaning of the Weapons Act: "The ball holder of the blade installed here, which releases even with light finger pressure on the back of the blade, does not meet the criteria of a manual locking device."The sturdy blade of satin-finished 440C has a flat grind and a groove on both sides. The jimpings in the area of the thumb rest and on the spacer also increase work safety. The straight-lined design is supplied with textured handle scales made of black G10, which are milled three-dimensionally and have weight-reducing recesses on the inside. Supplied with a deep-carry clip (tip-up/r) and a lanyard hole.
The oldest German knife company Böker was founded in the 17th century (Remscheid). Today Böker produces one of the world's best folding knives, outdoor knives, tactical knives and hunting knives. Like the vast majority of late medieval businesses, Böker was a family business founded by the head of the family. The workshop, and a little later a small factory for the production of high-quality blades, was located in the most beautiful corner of Germany - a grove of spreading chestnut trees. This powerful tree became the symbol of the famous German company.
Not all Böker knives are producing in Solingen, Germany. Now the part of the legendary German manufacturer’s capacity has been transferred to Taiwan and China in order to optimize production costs (Böker Plus and Böker Magnum). All Böker factories are equipped with the most advanced equipment, and quality control of manufactured products is carried out centrally and very scrupulously.
In our shop you can find almost whole range of Böker knives. Some models are available for pre-order. We can not permanently keep at warehouse whole range of Böker knives, but have right to represent their whole range and accept pre-orders, since we get from them goods weekly. 'If the product page doesn't have "In Stock", the "Add to Cart" button is yellow, and the button says "Shipping after 15-20 working days" - this means that the product is available on pre-order. We order the goods in the Böker manufacturer's warehouse and send it to you as soon as we receive it from the manufacturer.
MyGoodKnife is the official distributor of Böker.
