The US Navy Russlock is a Case knife with an unusual look, especially for a traditional style folder. This pattern features a liner-style locking mechanism and a flipper of sorts for convenient one-hand opening. The liner-style lock was Case's answer to their need for a high tech knife. The pattern was named after Case founder, J. Russell "Russ" Case.
The 2-5/8" blade of Case's own Tru-Sharp Surgical Stainless at 57-59 Rc., is a modified clip point with a long tail, which when in the closed position can be used as a flipper. The gray handle scales are smooth bone, over nickel silver liners with nickel silver bolsters with a barbed wire etch. Measures 3-1/2" closed and weighs 2.7 oz. Made in the U.S.A.
