The Cold Steel SR1 Tanto 62LA features Andrew's Demko signature minimalist style, without flourishes or embellishments, just pure functional, practical design. The SR1 Tanto is made for work. Is made from American CPM-S35VN premium powdered steel. A good blade needs a good handle, so the SR1's handle is made from premium G-10 with heat treated nested steel liners. With a coarse-textured surface for a secure grip even in cold, wet conditions, and expertly contoured to allow for a comfortable and safe grip even while wearing heavy gloves. For added reliability and peace of mind, equipped the SR1 with Tri-Ad locking mechanism - proven over time to weather the worst abuse, with unparalleled shock and impact resistance - making this knife the ideal choice for a survival rescue blade.
Cold Steel knives today are a symbol of quality and durability. Since 1980, Cold Steel has been making the toughest knives, folding knives, hatchets, swords and other outdoor products, as well as kitchen knives. Many Cold Steel knives, such as Recon 1, Espada, Ti-Lite, American Lawman and others, have become legends. Cold Steel was founded by Lynn Thompson in 1980 in the USA. Thompson is a martial artist, weapons researcher and knife designer who knows exactly what is needed from a knife in any given situation. The advantage of Cold Steel knives is that they are not afraid of the most severe tests and heavy tasks.
