Description

Hogue X5 OD green stylish folder and one of Hogue´s most distinct knife thus far. Built with Hogue's revolutionary deployment technology, these knives provide class-leading smoothness and an exceptionally effortless action. Although completely manual and containing no springs, the innovative internal system allows the blade to open with a motion as instinctive as your own reflexes. The X5 has the push-button lock with safety. The knife is 4.75" closed. The spear point blade 3.5" is made of CPM 154 stainless steel, tumbled finish. The handle is OD green aluminum. Lanyard hole. Hogue knives are made in the USA, at their own manufacturing facility in Nevada. The knives are made from premium steels (such as CPM S30V, MagnaCut), and the handles are made from G10, 6061-T6 aluminum, or carbon fiber. Hogue, Inc. began its operations in 1968 as a manufacturer of firearm accessories. The founder, Guy Hogue, was an expert in the field of gun tuning. As the business developed, the company expanded its product line, and in the 2010s, it began actively developing the knife industry, collaborating with legendary designer Allen Elishewitz.

Among the most popular models are the Hogue Deka, EX-01, EX-A05, Ballista I, and K320. The company offers both folding and automatic knives, as well as fixed blade knives.
