The Condor T&K Pictus knife was inspired by the Celtic culture, in which it was customary to make engravings on their weapons, utensils, and even tattoos on their bodies. The name Pictus also follows its original meaning. During the Roman invasion in the 1st century A.D. the Picts were one of the indigenous tribes of Scotland. However, over the next centuries they were supplanted by the Scots and other tribes before disappearing completely between 800 and 900. A.D. The “endless knots” on the blade and handle of the Condor T&K Pictus are very characteristic of the Celtic culture. A small pocket on a handmade leather scabbard holds three arrowheads.
