Arkansas Sharpeners is a well-known American brand specializing in the production of natural sharpening stones mined in the mountains of Arkansas. Historically, the same stones made of natural novaculite were used by Indians to sharpen their weapons and tools. Arkansas Sharpeners offers stones of various grain sizes. Each type of stone is suitable for a certain stage of sharpening - from initial editing to final sharpening and polishing. They do not require soaking, work with oil (mineral oil is recommended). The range also includes combined stones (Soft/Hard) and sets with wooden stands.
