The Marttiini Kerääjä mushroom knife has a blade made of stainless steel DIN 1.4116. The knife is specially designed for picking mushrooms and has a curved shape, which allows you to easily and neatly cut the mushroom without damaging the stem and the soil around it. The built-in natural boar bristle brush allows you to instantly brush off soil and pine needles so that the mushroom is clean. The brush is 2 cm long. The ergonomic birch handle provides a comfortable and secure grip even in wet conditions. The Marttiini mushroom knife weighs 40 g. A leather sheath is included. It is supplied in a cardboard box and can be a great gift for mushroom picking enthusiasts.
Marttiini knives have been one of the symbols of Finland for many years. Traditional Finnish knives "puukko" produced by Marttiini are known all over the world. The blacksmith Janne Marttiini started making knives back in 1902. And in 1928 he came to the city of Rovaniemi and founded his own company. The blades of Marttiini knives are made of special chrome-plated stainless steel, as well as carbon steel. Traditional "puukko" have classic wooden handles.
